Meet Becca

Hi there! I graduated Morton High School in 2018, then got my Bachelor's of Education at Drake University. For the past few years, I have taught third and fourth grade in East Peoria. My husband and I welcomed a baby girl in September, and now I enjoy spending my days with her.

I have been teaching swim lessons since 2015! I started as a life guard for Morton Park District, then transitioned to teaching private/semi-private lessons at my house. Teaching kids to swim is a huge passion of mine and I believe it is one of the most important skills a person can have.

My goal is to provide a safe environment where swimmers of all ages build confidence, develop strong technique, and gain lifelong water safety skills through patient instruction and positive encouragement.

How do lessons work?

Schedule

Each session runs Monday through Thursday during your selected week, with 30-minute lessons each day. You’re welcome to enroll in as many weekly sessions as you’d like.

Groups

Students are placed in small groups of three based on their swimming ability. This allows for personalized instruction while also giving swimmers time to rest, observe, and learn from their peers. Learning alongside others makes the experience more engaging—and more fun!

Payment

The cost of each session is $125/child. Payment will be taken on the first day of the session, in the form of cash or a check.

Cancellation Policy

If you’re unable to attend your scheduled session, please notify me as soon as possible so I can try to fill your spot. Cancellations made within one week of the session start date will incur a 50% fee.
